CAN WE THROW IT BACK TO MY 18TH?

Wednesday, 6 April 2016

Now I know it isn't a thursday, but I was looking through old photos and was feeling seriously nostalgic! SO, I thought I'd do something more creative than self pitying and blog about my 18th birthday celebrations instead.

I could say my 18th was one of the best days of my life so far, but it was more like a week of celebrations! To start with I had the most amazing champagne breakfast at this fancy hotel in the town that I live in. I opened all my beautiful presents from my family - a gorgeous ring that I designed myself, a Marc Jacobs watch and the prettiest rose gold Fiorelli necklace (and lots and lots of chocolate). I then spent the rest of the day hanging out with my grandparents, going for coffee and visiting a local manor and going for a walk in the sunshine. It was such a lovely day!

I then got home to my two best friends, where we attempted to get ready for the evenings celebrations. One major fashion disaster and meltdown and we were ready to go out! We went for a meal with my brother and parents (chinese mm mm mm) and then went drinking - legally. For the first time.

SO out of everyone, on my 18th, I was the least drunk! I had to chase my best friend down the road pulling her skirt down from around her armpits - absolute liability! Although I was the least drunk, I still had the best night.

Next morning, all a little bit worse for wear, we travelled to London for my second birthday night out. Checked in to a beaut hotel and hit the shops. Wagamamas for lunch and a glass of wine was a god send for our hangovers and a little bit of retail therapy never did anyone any harm. Ready for the night ahead we went back and got ready for our big London night out.

We went to the icebar and oh my god was it cold! Literally the best experience ever and they make THE best cocktails. Next we hit up Soho... and the rest, is history.
