LIVERPOOL ADVENTURES

Sunday, 13 March 2016

I am in love with this city. I decided a few months ago that I loved the courses at the uni in Liverpool and it was definitely where I wanted to spend 3 years of my life. So, with that in mind, my mum, my granny and I took a trip up there!

On the first day, we left our house at ridiculous o'clock (probably about 7 which isn't really that ridiculous) and set off in the car. After getting caught in so much traffic, we were finally there and attempting to find the university! There are sooo many uni buildings in Liverpool, but luckily they're all in walking distance of each other so it wasn't long before we found my building. I loved it! Although my granny spent the entire lecture laughing at how boring the man was, I at least found it very informative about the course I'll hopefully be on in September.
Lunch time. Mm mm mm, wagamamas here we come. One of my favourite restaurants of all time - noodles, rice, duck wraps, what more could you want.
After some shopping and a general walk around the city, we went to hit up the Cavern Club! Famously known for housing the Beatles in their early days, this place is right up my street. A mixture of all different types of people, drinks flowing and some seriously good music, I would have never left if it was up to me. Will definitely be a regular trip when I live up there at the end of the week.
The next day - our final day we were only there for a short break - we did all the typical tourist things. We went on a ferry across the Mersey, took pictures with Lennon and the gang and looked at all the famous buildings the city has to offer. Then we attempted the traffic ridden journey home. I had the best few days in Liverpool and it shows me how much I love the north!
