GLOSSYBOX REVIEW: JANUARY

January came around sooner than expected and with that, one of my favourite christmas presents also arrived on my doorstep - Glossybox. This is potentially one of my favourite ideas that anyone has ever thought of and it seems there are many other companies like it beginning to pop up!



Glossybox is a beauty distributor that send you a box of goodies once a month. These products are usually of extremely high standard and I love all the ones I've received so far.
So this month I received 4 amazing products and one bonus type product. One of my favourite was the purple/mauve eyeshadow I got. It's a shimmery formula in a cute little black case which I thought was a bit similar to mua packaging. It is so highly pigmented I was really surprised! With a beautiful colour and formula, this is definitely a winter eyeshadow must have! The eyeshadow is made by glossybox themselves in this amazing mauve colour. The director of glossybox wrote that you can either apply this with your finger tips for a sheer finish or using a wet brush for more pigmentation and dramatic colour. I personally like to apply it with a wet flat brush to ensure the smallest amount of fallout. This came as a full size product and can be bought for as little as £7.10.

My other favourite product in this glossybox was the lipstick. Ultimately a very durable, highly pigmented lipstick that glides on with ease. Not only is the product itself quite remarkable in terms of quality, the packaging is really awesome! It is from a company called Teeez Cosmetics and can be bought for only £11.93 at teeezcosmetics.com. It's also a beautiful satin coral colour which I adore especially for the upcoming spring.
